Two pathway projects were recently completed at popular Poway parks, both of which were the result of community feedback. A pathway was recently added along the northeast edge of Community Park, connecting the skate park to the tennis courts and completing a loop around the perimeter of the park. A pathway loop was also added at Starridge Park. The original pathway stopped at the ballfield and the extension creates a safe path around the field and connects back the park.
The Community Park pathway was identified as a needed improvement in the city's 2021 Community Park needs assessment. The Starridge Park pathway was the result of feedback from neighbors who expressed their interest in having a complete loop around the park.
