Community Services - Parks & Recreation
Our mission is to enrich our community and your quality of life through an exceptional blend of recreation, arts, leisure, and cultural programs, and to provide parks/facilities and open space for all.
The Development Services Department administers and implements the city's planning, land use, building and engineering functions.
The Finance Department coordinates the day-to-day activities of various internal operations of the city and also offers support services to all other city departments.
The Poway Fire Department is an all-hazard, all-risk response agency. With 3 fire stations, 17 personnel respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service by staffing three paramedic engines, a paramedic ladder truck, two paramedic ambulances and one incident commander (Fire Battalion Chief).
