Although City offices – including the Council Chambers – remain closed to the public, the April 7 Poway City Council meeting will be open for all through livestream and teleconference tools. The city has a teleconference option for the public to participate (including speaking on posted items or during public comment), but asks that anyone who is viewing only use the city’s regular livestream feed at poway.org/councilmeetings.
Local jurisdictions have been given special permission by the governor to hold public meetings via teleconferencing and to make public meetings accessible telephonically or otherwise electronically to all members of the public seeking to observe and to address the local legislative body, during the period in which local public officials impose measures to promote social distancing.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast from the Council Chambers at located at 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, CA 92064.
