It was the first Trophy stock of the season and it produced some nice fish, including a Tailwalker caught by Keith Clague. The big news of the week was the catfish bite. We saw a 20 pounder caught by Jeff, a 10 pounder caught by Karen Oswald (see photo), and an 8 pound cat reeled in by Carlos.
We will be open for fishing on New Year’s Day, January 1st, and we will be stocking again January 2nd.
Happy Holidays, remember Lake Poway is closed on Christmas Day.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 4:00 PM so come early enough to buy your permit or rent a boat.
