Happy holidays from the City of Poway! Below is information on holiday schedules and closures. 

• City Hall is closed Dec. 24/25 (Christmas), Dec. 28 (regularly scheduled closed Friday) and Dec. 31/Jan. 1 (New Year’s). 
• Emergency 9-1-1 response will remain fully operational; our Sheriff’s station and Fire Department will maintain regular schedules.
• Lake Poway is closed on Christmas Day, but is open for fishing, boating and hiking on New Year’s Day. 
• Poway parks and the Blue Sky Ecological Reserve will remain open; park offices at Old Poway Park and Community Park are closed Dec. 24/25 and Dec. 31/Jan. 1
• Park restrooms are closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. (Community Park restrooms closed Dec. 24/25, Dec. 30/Jan. 1)
• Twin Peaks and Meadowbrook gyms and the Poway Center for the Performing Arts are closed Dec. 24 to Jan. 4 for maintenance. 
• Swim Center is closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. 
• Poway’s Skate Park is open daily and closes each night at 8 p.m.
• Trash will be delayed one day following Christmas and New Year's holiday observances. View the EDCO trash collection schedule. 
• Christmas trees will be picked up for recycling on regular collection days between Dec. 26 and Jan. 11. 
• Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility at 12325 Crosthwaite Circle will be open on its regular schedule on Saturdays over the holidays.
