The City of Poway invites you to the 30th Annual Fire Department Open House on Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Fire Training Tower at 12335 Crosthwaite Circle. This year’s theme is Hear the Beep Where You Sleep. Attendees can enjoy tours of the training tower, fire engines and other fire apparatus. Kids can learn about burn prevention methods at the Kid’s Safety House and squirt a fire hose at a “burning” house. This year, we will host the Wyland Mobile Learning Center where the whole family can learn about conservation of our precious water resources. Food will also be available for purchase at the event.
Nothing is more important than the safety of your family, so bring your kids and have some fun while you learn how to protect your family from fire! For more information, contact Michelle Clark at (858) 668-4460, or by email to mclark@poway.org.
