Who says that water conservation has to be a dry topic? If you are creative, witty, or punny then the City of Poway needs your help! Poway residents have a chance to showcase their talent as the City of Poway will be launching a water conservation caption contest on Wednesday, August 5.
Every two weeks, through September, the City will post a new picture on our website. That’s where you come in. We need your best water saving caption for each picture. Captions can be submitted online at poway.org/waterconservation or by filling out a form at City Hall, Community Park, Old Poway Park or at any City event.
The funniest caption for each picture will win a $25 gift certificate to the Poway business of their choice and assorted water conservation materials. Each winning caption will also be prominently displayed on the City’s website, Twitter and Facebook pages and during City Council Meetings.
Caption This! will run until September 30, so residents will have four chances to win.
Prizes are limited to Poway residents. Information about the contest and bi-weekly pictures will be available on the City’s website at www.poway.org/waterconservation.
