[ARCHIVED] Annual Public Street Maintenance Project

Poway, CA – The City of Poway will begin conducting street maintenance on approximately 4.4 million square feet of residential and arterial streets. The work to be done includes, deep patching and slurry seal within Street Maintenance Zone 6, which includes Pomerado Road from Twin Peaks Road to the northern City limit, and neighborhoods surrounding the streets of Martincoit Road, Avenida Florencia, Stone Canyon Road, Kaitz Street, and Adobe Ridge Road neighborhoods. This work is scheduled for completion in late August 2015.

Street asphalt overlay will also be completed on Garden Road from Poway Road to Whitewater Road, Stowe Drive from Pomerado Road to 1,000 feet east of Pomerado Road, the intersection of Twin Peaks Road and Pomerado Road and Adah Lane from Poway Road to 150 feet south of Poway Road.

Street work will require both partial and full closures, depending on the activities that are scheduled. Residents will be notified prior to the work so that they can adjust their travel needs accordingly.

Please watch for message signs for the exact location of current work. Additional information will be posted to the City’s website at poway.org/roads as it becomes available.
