Catfish were biting from the boats this past Wednesday. Art Gutierrez of San Diego caught a nice 8 pound trout in Half Moon Bay using a night crawler. Edward Adriano of San Marcos and Martin Manibusan of Temecula combined for a mixed bag that included a catfish, a trout, and a sunfish. All were caught on night crawlers from a boat. Sunday was another good day to rent a boat, with limits of both catfish and trout caught out in deeper waters.

Lake Poway is closed to fishing and boating on Mondays & Tuesdays. The park is open seven days a week, 6:00 AM - sunset (currently 5:00 PM).
