Trout Season has arrived! Opening Day started out with well with a 10 pounder caught in the first few hours. The good luck continued with limits caught throughout the weekend. Shoreline anglers along Half Moon Bay and Hidden Bay saw a lot of action, while boats along the log boom also found success. Nightcrawlers and powerbait were the bait of choice this week.
Lake Poway is closed to fishing and boating on Mondays & Tuesdays. The park is open seven days a week, 6:00 AM - sunset (currently 5:00 PM). Lake Poway will be closed on Christmas Day.
