The fish were still lurking in the deep this week. A lot of catfish and a few smaller bass were caught over the past seven days. If it is catfish you are looking for, head on over to the south side of Half Moon Bay, or over to the North Shore. Several anglers also found their luck casting straight off the end of the fishing pier. As the water temperature begins to drop, we anticipate more activity throughout the lake.
Lake Poway is closed to fishing on Mondays & Tuesdays and will be closed to boating Monday-Friday during the month of October. The park is open seven days a week, 6:00 AM - sunset.
