Night fishing was great this Friday and Saturday with many limits caught both nights. The best spots continue to be along the log boom and at the mouth of hidden bay.
No bass reported caught this week, but they are easily seen from the fishing dock and the shore, especially along east shore.
The usual baits are still working best; mackerel, chicken liver, as well as some of the specialty catfish baits. Ask at the concession stand when you get your permit, they know the best baits and the best spots.
Night fishing is available Friday and Saturday nights until September 6th. Fishing is open until 11:30pm, boats can stay out until 11:00pm.
