Marvin Morris caught a couple of nice catfish this Saturday (photo). He was fishing from Jump Off Point and using what has been the hottest bait lately, shrimp! There were quite a few catfish caught this week and nearly all were caught using shrimp.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 5:15 PM so come early enough to buy your permit or rent a boat.
