Tristan and his father Kirk both caught limits Friday and Sunday (photo), including a big 7-pound cat caught by Tristan. Sunday they were fishing from the shore at Jump Off Point, in Hidden Bay, and in Boulder Bay. Their secret bait is shrimp. Friday they got their limits from shore in Hidden Bay.
Bluegill are plentiful near the Fishing Pier and are biting well on Night Crawlers.

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 6:00 PM so come early enough to buy your permit or rent a boat.
