It was an exciting week with our first catfish stock of the year on Thursday and our first nights of night fishing on Friday and Saturday. Several limits of catfish have been hauled in and the best spot is along the buoy line. Mackerel and Chicken livers are working well, and some of the catfish specific baits. Check with the concession stand for the latest info on what baits are working and where the best fishing spots are.
Night fishing is available Friday and Saturday nights until September 5th. Fishing is open until 11:30pm, boats can stay out until 11:00pm. See more about fishing Lake Poway and download our night fishing flyer: Fishing Page and Flyer
