Two young anglers caught their first fish ever this Saturday! Tristan Harrison of Poway (photo) caught his first fish, a fine Tailwalker. The other “first fish ever” went to Kellan Dougherty of Escondido. Six year old Kellan was fishing a night crawler on the East side of Lake Poway when opportunity struck.
The trout fishing picked up for the weekend with limits on Saturday, and regular Jeff Kopischke getting his Tailwalker limit on Sunday.
The bass bite was great this week with several in the two to six-pound range caught.
