Dylan, a Lake Poway regular, caught the fish of the week Saturday when he landed a nine-pound 1-ounce Tailwalker (see photo). He was fishing the North Shore and using a Mice Tail.
It was not the wide-open fishing the lake had last week but anglers still brought in a variety of species. The bass bite slowed a little, possibly due to the weather.
Next stock: Trout, March 21st, 1,500 pounds, Trophies!
New this year Lake Poway will be hosting free Trout Fishing Seminars for beginners. The seminars are taught by Lake Poway Park Ranger and expert angler Scott Cochran. The final Seminar of the season will be held April 8th, 2018. For more information see our website.
