Open for Boating and Fishing New Year’s Day, January 1st, 2018!
The last week of the year was a good week for trout fishing at Lake Poway. Twelve year old Brison hooked a seven pound Tailwalker on Thursday (see photo). A Poway local, Brison was fishing with his dad from the fishing pier using a white jig.
Friday was the biggest day of this trout season so far. There were a lot of anglers and a lot of limits.
New this year Lake Poway will be hosting 3 free Trout Fishing Seminars for beginners. The dates are January 7th, March 11th, and April 8th. For more information see our website.
