Opening week of Trout Season produced a lot of limits and some very big fish! The fish of the week belongs to Mike Masi with his 11 lb. 4 oz. monster Nebraska Tailwalker (pictured). He caught it along the log boom using a minijig. There were 2 other 10 plus pound trout caught including Rod Masters’ 10 lb. 5 oz. Tailwalker. Several trout in the 6 to 7 pound range were also pulled in. Anglers along the shore seem to be doing about as well as those in boats. The entire shoreline has been good with the hottest spots being North Shore, and Jump Off Point.
The bass bite has been good including a 7 pounder caught Saturday.
See our website for the complete stocking schedule.
Next stock: Trout, December 13th, 1,500 pounds.
