The fish of the week goes to Elijah Henry who hooked a big 5-pound bass from the fishing pier. Twelve-year-old Elijah is a Poway local and was using a shiner. There were also quite a few catfish caught along the log boom this week. Early morning and late afternoon are the prime times for catfish lately.
