A few catfish limits were caught this week by regulars using mackerel and fishing the log boom. Bass are biting swimbaits near the shore. No big bass to report but many in the 2-5 pound range are being hooked.
In October we have our Fall Camping Series. Camping will be available the nights of October 6th and 20th. The fee is only $25 for up to 5 people. People registered for the campout can fish all night if they buy a fishing permit. For more details check our website:

When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 4:30 PM, so come early enough to buy your permit or boat.
