The shore in the morning has been hot for trout. Rene Rodriguez (pictured) of San Diego caught a nice 6 pound Taikwalker Wednesday using a nightcrawler from the beach in Boulder Bay. Albert Morgan landed a 7 pound beauty in Hidden bay using powerbait. Erwin Diacosta limited Thursday from the shore at Jump Off Point and caught a great 7 pound trout Friday. The bite has been good in the early morning but has been dropping off in the afternoon due to rising water temperature. So get here early and find a nice spot on the shore.
Next stock; 2,800 pounds, April 19th.
The final two stocks of the season will be combined for 2,800 pounds on April 19th.
