Closed to boating and fishing Mondays and Tuesdays.
Big trout are biting! Michael Irey of San Diego had the biggest of the week, a 11 lb. 4 oz. monster that put up a great fight. He caught it using garlic powerbait and a green plastic worm at the east end of the log boom. Shawn Armstrong was also in double digits with a 10 pounder and Alex Kopischke came close with a 9 pound Tailwalker. The trout fishing should only get better with another 1,500 pound stock next Wednesday March 30th. There have been some nice bass reported but apparently they are camera shy. People are also catching catfish, mostly from boats on the lob boom.
The next stock will be Wednesday, March 30th, 1,500lbs.
