The trout bite was amazing this week! With a 3,000 pound stock of trophy Tailwalkers we expected it to great but it surpassed expectations. A huge number of seven and 10 pound trout were caught but the whale of the week was a 13.25 pounder caught by Richard Gauntner of Rancho Penasquitos. He hooked it from shore in Hidden Bay using a green minijig. Other notables were Mike Wolfe with a 7.75 pounder and DJ Evans with a 7 pounder . Hidden Bay, North Shore, Half Moon Bay, and Jump Off Point were all good from the shore and boaters were doing well throughout the lake. Bass were also biting well.
The next stock will be Wednesday, March 16th, 1,500lbs.
