The trout bite was a little slower than usual this week, but that should change after our massive 3,000 pound stock of Trophy Tailwalkers on Wednesday March 2nd! The bass are biting and the largest reported was a 5 pounder caught Thursday. The best baits for trout are still Powaerbait, nightcrawlers and minijigs. Catfish are biting best on mackerel and chicken livers.
The next stock will be Wednesday, March 2nd, and will be 3,000 pounds of Trophies!
When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 4:30 PM now so come early enough to buy your permit.
