Since the trophy stock Tuesday the trout have really started biting. Lots of people are catching limits, and the trout being caught are bigger. This week’s highlight wasn’t a trout though, it was Nick Gibson’s 12 lb catfish. (see photo) He caught it near the log boom using what he called a “combo platter” for bait. Unfortunately he wouldn’t reveal the recipe so you’ll just have to work out your own combo.
The next stock will be Wednesday, January 13th and will consist of 1,500 lbs of Trophies.
