The catfish bite is picking up. This week night fishing produced numerous limits of catfish. Last week saw Junior Castro of Mira Mesa pull in a massive 25 pounder (see picture). Small bluegill and bass can be found around the fishing float with the occasional larger bass chasing them.
Night fishing will continue Fridays and Saturdays through August 15th. Our next stock of 1,300 pounds of catfish should arrive August 7th.
