Patient anglers are catching catfish, bluegill and bass. The bite was a little slower this week probably because of the rain. A nice sized catfish was pulled from Hidden Bay Sunday, and then released. Will Bond of Poway continues to catch bass in any conditions. He caught the bass shown in the picture on Friday, July 17th, using a swimbait near the log boom. Bluegill are also biting nicely, though most are not too large.
Night fishing will continue Fridays and Saturdays through August 15th. Our next stock of 1,300 pounds of catfish should arrive July 24th.
