It was another good week for catfish. As expected night fishing produced the most fish. The log boom is still the best spot if you are in a boat. Not many people fished on the 4th so there are still plenty of fish in the lake. The next stock is July 10th so night fishing should be great next Friday and Saturday. The North Shore and the area between the fishing dock and the no fishing area near the boat dock were the best for anglers fishing for catfish from shore.
Bass are still biting. Swim baits and robo-worms are the go to lures. The trees on the East side of the lake are still the go to spot for bass.
Night fishing will continue Fridays and Saturdays through August 15th. Our next stock of 1,600 pounds of catfish should arrive July 10th.
