It was a great week for trout at Lake Poway! There were tons of big fish and limits. Quite a few catfish were caught, too. The best day was Saturday, with a 10.5 pounder and lots of limits from boats and shore.
Our next stock will be February 4th, with 3,000 lbs of Nebraska Tailwalkers. The lake will be CLOSED to fishing February 4th-February 6th due to the Youth Fishing Derby. The lake will open for regular fishing at 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 7th.
Lake Poway is closed to fishing and boating on Mondays & Tuesdays. The park is open seven days a week, 6:00 AM - sunset (currently 5:15 PM).
