Catfish were still going strong this week. Mackerel still seems to be the bait of choice for reeling in catfish. The water temperature continues to drop and it is currently hovering at around 73 degrees.
Lake Poway is busy getting prepped for the beginning of Trout Season. Opening Day will be Thursday, December 4th! Concessions is currently stocking up on all the latest tackle and bait to help you catch the best looking trout.
Lake Poway is closed to fishing and boating on Mondays & Tuesdays. The park is open seven days a week, 6:00 AM - sunset (currently 5:00 PM).
