Mickey Cafagna Community Center Grand Bash

We're throwing a Grand Bash to celebrate the opening of the new Mickey Cafagna Community Center at Community Park! Join us June 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, entertainment, class demonstrations, arts and crafts, food, giveaways, and more. The Mickey Cafagna Community Center is a multi-generational facility designed to serve our Poway community and we cannot wait to share this beautiful space with everyone!

FREE Entertainment and FREE Activities include:

  • Extreme Rahim’s magic show and drum circle
  • DJ Danny and his collection of tunes
  • Park staff-hosted dance party
  • Arts & Crafts* including precious pipe cleaner dragonflies, sun-sational foam visors, refreshing paper fruit fans, and more
  • Summer-fun photo booth with assorted props
  • Assortment of family-friendly board games
  • Various Parks and Recreation booths, prizes, and commemorative reusable tote giveaway*
  • Individualized snacks and desserts*
