Kid's Night Out is a win - win for everyone! Parents, take the night off because Kid's Night Out is all about the kids. Offered every first Friday of the month during the school year, kids in grades 1-5 will enjoy a themed night of recreation games, arts and crafts, special presenters, movies, and so much more. It's not your average night - it's Kid's Night Out!

We're throwing a Grand Bash to celebrate the opening of the new Mickey Cafagna Community Center at Community Park! Join us June 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, entertainment, class demonstrations, arts and crafts, food, giveaways, and more. The Mickey Cafagna Community Center is a multi-generational facility designed to serve our Poway community and we cannot wait to share this beautiful space with everyone!

The City of Poway presents free Summer Movies in the Park! Bring a blanket and enjoy a family-friendly movie under the stars. Movies will be shown on a giant, cinema-quality screen. Bring your favorite snacks or a picnic dinner; food will NOT be available for purchase. Parking at Poway Community Park is free but can fill up fast; come early and get a good seat!

Calling all novice campers! Enjoy outdoor fun in a family-friendly environment. Activities include: guided evening hikes, campfire with s'mores, and Extreme Rahim returns with his family pleasing magic/comedy show. Remember to bring your own camping equipment, dinner supplies to barbeque, and grill/charcoal. Lake Poway offers great fishing, and summer is catfish season. The park also offers several popular hiking and mountain biking trails. Bring your family out for a night under the stars! Remember to follow all COVID safety recommendations.
