Kid's Night Out is a win - win for everyone! Parents, take the night off because Kid's Night Out is all about the kids. Offered every first Friday of the month during the school year, kids in grades 1-5 will enjoy a themed night of recreation games, arts and crafts, special presenters, movies, and so much more. It's not your average night - it's Kid's Night Out!

Camping your way! Set up your tent and explore the park at your own pace. Hike the many trails, drop a line to catch a fish, cruise the lake on a motorboat, or simply relax by your campsite, and take in all the natural beauty that Lake Poway offers. Fishing permits and boat rentals are not included, but may be purchased at an additional cost.

Our older adult community is invited to get into the fall spirit with a little pumpkin decorating! Pumpkins and materials will be provided.

City Hall is closed every other Friday.

What’s better than playing dodgeball? Playing glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, of course! Get ready for some beast glow-in-the-dark fun with dodgeball, rockin’ tunes, dodgeball, boss treats, dodgeball, lit prizes, and more – dodgeball, that is! This legendary showdown is a teen program fave that you and your friends won’t want to miss! This program is for teens and tweens in grades 6 - 9.

The fun begins every 15 minutes as docents lead guests on an after-dark adventure through the Reserve. The first group heads out at 5:30 p.m., and the last group will leave at 7:15 p.m. Docents, dressed as native “critters,” will bring Blue Sky alive. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the end of your visit. Children are encouraged to dress in costumes, and everyone should dress warmly. Registration is required. NO walk-ins accepted.

Join us for a wickedly fun Halloween Campout. Little ghouls and goblins of all ages can enjoy a ranger led spooky night hike, a costume contest, trick or treating, and a jack-o’-lantern craft starting at 5:00pm!

Celebrate Halloween in a distinctly different way. Test your bravery in the Haunted House, try your skills at haunted carnival games, and ride aboard the Poway Midland Railroad. This event is guaranteed to thrill and chill!
