    2. The Public Works Department of the City of Poway invites interested contractors to complete a Contractor's Pre-Qualifciation Application to be placed on the City of Poway's qualified contractor's list. This list is designed so contractors can receive a "Notice Inviting Bids" for informal projects under $200,000 in their work category. Only qualified contractors will be notified. Incomplete forms will not be added to the Bidder's List. 

      The City has adopted the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) under Public Contract Code § 22000 et seq. As a result of adopting the CUPCCAA, the City is authorized to engage in an Informal Bidding process for award of construction contracts valued at $200,000 or less.
