Two pathway projects were recently completed at popular Poway parks, both of which were the result of community feedback. A pathway was added along the northeast edge of Community Park, connecting the skate park to the tennis courts and completing a loop around the perimeter of the park. An extension connecting two existing pathways at Starridge Park was added to provide park users a full loop around the perimeter of the grass area and ballfield.
The Community Park pathway was identified as a needed improvement in the city's 2021 Community Park needs assessment. The Starridge Park pathway was the result of feedback from neighbors who expressed their interest in having a complete loop around the park.
