Free Shredding and Compost Pick-Up Event for Poway Residents June 18, 2022

Protect the security of your confidential information by shredding your personal documents. The City of Poway and EDCO are sponsoring a FREE paper shredding event on Saturday, June 18th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Poway's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility (12325 Crosthwaite Circle, Poway, CA 92064). All items will be shredded onsite. Limit two (2) bankers boxes (10” x 12” x 15”) per household. Documents should be free of paper clips and other metal. FREE MULCH! In addition to our shred event, EDCO will also have mulch available for self-load/self-haul. Come early and bring a shovel to get your compost while it lasts. If you plan to haul your compost in an open truck or trailer, please remember to bring a tarp to cover your material. Poway's regularly scheduled household hazardous waste collection also is available during this time. Proof of Poway residency is required.
