Come out and enjoy Night Fishing at Lake Poway beginning July 6th and continuing every Friday and Saturday night until September 1st. The lake will be open until 11:30 PM, and boats can stay out until 11:00 PM. 
Catfish will be stocked July 3rd, 13th, and 27th, and August 10th and 24th.* *Stocking schedule subject to change.

Nestled in the hills of Poway, the Lake Poway Recreation Area not only serves as the water supply for residents, but also has provided exceptional outdoor recreational opportunities since 1972. Get hooked on fishing and boating, head up the mountain on a hike, take aim at archery, or enjoy a leisurely picnic. 

The park is open seven days a week (closed Christmas Day & Thanksgiving).  The lake is open Wednesday-Sunday for boating and fishing.
 
The Entry Station will charge a $10 parking fee for all non-Poway residents on weekends and holidays.

Lake Poway's gates open at 6:00 AM daily and are closed and locked at sunset.
