Lake Poway Day Camp staff have a unique blend of maturity, enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and a genuine desire to work with youth and teens. They enjoy singing camp songs, leading outdoor adventures, teaching creative group games, and encouraging campers to try new things.
Staff focus on creating a safe environment where campers can develop positive peer relationships, learn new skills, and have fun! They truly are the key to our success.
Selection Process
All Lake Poway Day Camp staff undergo a lengthy and thorough interview and background check process. This process includes reference checks, fingerprinting, completing a medical exam, and drug screening. Staff are also required to be CPR and First Aid certified.
