Poway, CA - As part of its water conservation program, the City of Poway is offering free California-friendly landscape classes to residents. Because of Poway’s current Level 2 Water Shortage Alert and with summer quickly approaching, the City recommends homeowners attend to learn more about water-efficient landscaping techniques for our semi-arid environment.
Participants may sign up for the classes individually or as a four-part series. The residential series begins Saturday, March 6, and lasts four weeks. The topics for the residential landscaping classes include:

Classes are offered at no cost for Poway residents through the City of Poway. Non-residents must pay a $10 class fee. To register, visit www.poway.org/classes. Online registration cost is $1.50 per participant. Payment must be made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Registration is also available in person at City Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
